　アラバマ物語 50年 - おやっさん的日常

本日から南アＷ杯も準々決勝に入りました。
このベスト４を争う4試合では、国歌の吹奏に引続き、両国のキャプテンがそれぞれ人種差別反対のメッセージを読み上げるとともに、全員が並んで WE SAY NO TO RACISM のペナントと記念撮影をするというセレモニーを行いましたが、さすがに南アフリカでの大会だと思いました。

人種差別問題を鋭く描いた映画「アラバマ物語」の原作が世に出て、この7月で50年になるそうです。これを機会にもう一度この感動作を観たいと思っていますが、原作者のハーパー・リーという方もなかなか興味深い人のようですね。
