昨日の BBC Radio Scotland リッキー・ロスの Another Country でガイ・クラークの新譜から My Favourite Picture Of You が流れたのですが、これが昨年6月に亡くなったガイの奥さんであるスザンナ・クラークを偲んで歌っている曲、との紹介でした。

スザンナ・クラークがひょっとしたらガイ・クラークの奥さんではないかと思ってきたのですが、確たるコトは以前ネットで調べたものの当時は分からなかったはず。

エミルー・ハリスのこのアルバムジャケットについてリッキーから言及があったのですが、私にとってスザンナ・クラークといえば何といってもウィリーのこの Stardust のジャケットです。

そうですか、昨年に73歳でお亡くなりになっていたんですね、合掌。

そうですか、このHPによればスザンナ・クラーク作詞の曲 Easy From Now On がエミルーのこのアルバムにも入っていたんですね、残っていたレシートによると2000年4月に2枚、エミルーのアルバムを名駅近鉄のタワーレコードで買い求めたのですが（何故だろう？）今まで気づきませんでした。
しかし、この当時のエミルーの声は何て美しく澄んでいるのでしょう！
