Nicola Sturgeon 女史

総選挙真っ最中の英国で大ブレイクしている（the breakout star of the election campaign）政治家 Nicola Sturgeon 女史。
国政選挙なのに御本人は立候補しておらず、彼女自身は地方政治家（地方政治家といっても英国から独立を目指したスコットランド自治政府の首相ではあります）。
この写真を見ただけで頭の良さそうなことが判ります。また、政治リーダーとして修羅場をくぐってきた割には性格の良さそうな（まともな）人間に見えるところも得をしていますよね。
「美人すぎる」などと騒がれる日本では、ちょっとお目にかかれない女性政治家です。
そういえば、一回りふっくらさせれば、独のメルケル首相に似ている？かも。
