The Pursuit of Justice

本日、アマルティア・セン教授が新著『正義論』をこの7月に出版されていて、来る11月19日にはオクスフォードで「正義を求めて The Pursuit of Justice 」と題した講演が行われる予定であることを知りました。

The Idea of Justice

新著の目次を Amazon で眺めてみましたが、これは論文集の類いでなく、ロールズの『正義論』、ノージックの『アナキー・国家・ユートピア』、ウォルツァーの『正義の領分』などと並ぶような（これらは全て70年代、80年代の出版なので、もう随分古いです。ですが、その後に続く書物が思い浮かびません。例えば、ブライアン・バリーの著書などが、その後の正義論の体系書なのでしょうか）これまでのセン教授の正義論の集大成となる体系書だと思われます。タイトルからしても、ロールズの a Theory を意識したのか the Idea と定冠詞であるところなど、なかなかの自信作だとみました。
